Amazon Operations Bursary
The Amazon Operaions Bursary offered by Amazon Commercial Services (South Africa) (Pty) Ltd is a full cost recruitment bursary aimed at students who will be in their final year of a 4-year degree or their Honours year in 2027 in any of the following fields: Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation Management, Operations Management, Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, and Finance.
Successful applicants will be expected to join Amazon after graduation as interns in 2028.
Bursaries are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need and for full-time studies at South African universities.

Who can apply
Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying:
- South African citizen
- Strong academic and leadership potential
- Achieved an aggregate of 70% or above in the 2025 final and 2026 first semester examinations.
Bursary details
The Amazon Operations Bursary will cover the costs (capped) of the following:
- tuition
- residence / private accommodation
- subsistence
- stationery and books
- a personal computer
Selection criteria
Citizenship:
Only applications from South African citizens will be considered.

- Industrial Engineering

- Logistics / Transportation Management
- Operations Management
- Data Science / Data Analytics
- Statistics
- Management
- Finance.
Year level in 2027: Final year of a 4-year degree or Honours degree (NQF 8)
Academic achievement:
- This bursary is for students who are consistently obtaining an average of 70% and above.
