Who can apply

Enel Green Power RSA (Pty) Ltd invites bursary applications from current Grade 12 learners and current tertiary students within the stipulated geographical area of its operation namely:

2. Garob Wind Farm
3. Gibson Bay Wind Farm
4. Karusa Wind Farm
5. Nojoli Wind Farm
6. Nxuba Wind Farm
7. Oyster Bay Wind Farm
8. Paleisheuwel (Electra Capital)
9. Pulida Energy
10. Soetwater Wind Farm
11. Sublunary Trading
12. Tom Burke Solar

The bursary is open to learners who are South African citizens and want to study further at South Africa Institutions, notably TVET colleges, universities of technology and universities. Prospective students towards NQF level 4 technical and vocational education and training programmes, as well as national diploma and degree programmes are invited to apply. This Bursary Programme is funded by ENGPRSA and administered by the national bursary Organisation StudyTrust.

Bursary details

The value of the bursary will be determined on an individual basis and may be used to cover the following study-related cost items:

  • Institution tuition fees, registration fees and examination fees
  • Accommodation in an institution residence or equivalent
  • Meals
  • Learning materials (textbooks, stationary, etc.)

Selection Criteria

The main criteria used in the selection of successful applicants to the EGPRSA bursary are as follows:

  • Academic excellence: Selection will be done on the basis on the latest results.
  • Financial need: Applicants must be able to demonstrate the lack of sufficient financial resources to continue with tertiary education.

How to apply

  • Applications must be completed on StudyTrust’s online application platform (hosted by DevMan) before 30 November to be considered for a bursary for next year.
  • Only applications from South African citizens will be considered.

  • Application Season: 01 May to 30 November 2025.
