Perdekraal East Wind Farm Bursaries
The Perdekraal East Wind Farm invites current matriculants, as well as individuals who completed their NSC or NTC in previous years, to apply for the 2027 academic year bursary.
Applicants who have completed Grade 9 and are interested in pursuing Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) or Further Education and Training (FET) programmes are also encouraged to apply. The bursary opportunity is aimed at applicants from disadvantaged backgrounds in the surrounding local communities, including Ceres, Bella Vista, Nduli, and Prince Alfred Hamlet, who are interested in pursuing further studies during the 2027 academic year
Who can apply
The bursary is open to learners who are South African citizens and want to study further at South African private accredited and public institutions, notably TVET colleges, universities of technology or universities.
Bursary details
The value of the bursary will be determined on an individual basis and may be used to cover the following study-related cost items:
- Institution tuition fees, registration fees and examination fees
- Accommodation in an institution residence or equivalent
- Meals
- Learning materials (textbooks, stationary, etc.)
Selection Criteria
The main criteria used in the selection of successful applicants to the Perdekraal East Wind Farm bursary are as follows:
- Academic potential: Selection will be done based on latest results.
- Financial need: Applicants must be able to demonstrate lack of sufficient financial resources to continue with tertiary education

- Only applications from South African citizens will be considered.
